Tips for carrying out a Pilot

Do not create an unreal test, for a Pilot to work you must be using the real process and real data with live systems

Do not try to make the Pilot work, it needs to follow the actual process, not be bent and changed so the Pilot looks a success

Carry out a Pilot in a quiet environment, so distractions from noise and other people do not impact on the Pilot results

Conduct a Pilot with your best personnel. Do not opt for a range of staff who have varying skills and experience

Treat the Pilot as though it is your full implementation.
